Bring one of the world's most recognizable works of Japanese art home in candle form. The ForeverWick x Musée d'Art Hokusai Great Wave candle features The Great Wave off Kanagawa, a fresh Sea Salt & Orchid fragrance, a 70-hour burn time, and a genuine diamond hidden inside.
Hokusai's cresting swell has been printed and reproduced for nearly two centuries. For the ForeverWick x Musée d'Art collaboration it wraps a hand-poured candle — the breaking wave, the small boats beneath it, Mount Fuji held still in the distance — so the artwork sits on a shelf or a nightstand rather than behind glass.
Fresh. Airy. Coastal. The blend opens on juicy mango and mineral sea salt, blooms into elegant orchid petals, then settles into soft white lily. Clean, airy and sophisticated — the feeling of an ocean breeze drifting through a luxury seaside retreat.
Every ForeverWick candle is poured with a genuine cut and polished diamond sealed inside, so the experience continues after the wax is gone. Burn it down, lift out your diamond, and keep it — or put it toward a real piece through the ForeverWick Diamond Exchange. The full exchange details are in the Diamond Exchange section on this page.
Katsushika Hokusai made the woodblock print commonly known as The Great Wave around 1830–32, as part of his series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. It is also known as Under the Wave off Kanagawa. Produced in the ukiyo-e tradition, it went on to become one of the most widely recognised images in the world.
Hand-poured in the USA in small batches. 14 oz (397 g) premium natural soy wax blend, single cotton wick, lead and zinc free. Trim the wick before each burn and enjoy responsibly.
It is a hand-poured 14 oz ForeverWick diamond candle made with Musée d'Art, wrapped in Hokusai's The Great Wave off Kanagawa. It burns for roughly 70 hours in a Sea Salt & Orchid fragrance and has a genuine diamond sealed inside.

Yes. Like every ForeverWick diamond candle, a genuine cut and polished diamond is sealed inside and revealed as the candle burns down.
About 70 hours, burning cleanly and evenly in its hand-poured glass vessel.
