How can wax be so different?
Soy wax comes from soybeans which is a natural and renewable resource that emits a more pure and enhanced fragrance. This wax is healthier for you and the environment.
Paraffin wax is derived from petroleum, coal or oil shale that will emit black soot and chemicals that can create long term health problems. Paraffin wax is often used in cheaper candles sold by large manufacturers.
A 2009 study by researchers at South Carolina State University determined long-term use of paraffin wax can be hazardous to your health.

Soy Wax Lasts longer
Soy wax burns at a lower melting point then paraffin wax and therefore burns slower and lasts longer. In fact, soy wax will burn up to 50% longer then paraffin wax because it doesn’t need such a high temperature to melt. Soy wax is excellent at carrying the scent without enhancing the scent with chemical amplifiers.
Cleanest Burn
All candle lovers know how nice is to have a clean burning candle. Soy wax is non-toxic and burns clean because it doesn’t produce any petrol-carbon soot and can be safely used by people with allergies and asthma.
Another reason why soy wax is so good is that it will not stain your walls, furniture and objects around your house like paraffin wax does.
Paraffin wax contains 11 known toxins and 2 of them are known to cause cancer and can also aggravate asthma, allergies and irritate the respiratory tract if used frequently.
Environmentally Friendly
Soy wax is derived from soybeans which is a natural, sustainable and renewable resource. Most soybeans are harvested in the Midwestern United States. The soy wax oil is extracted from the soy flakes after the beans are cleaned, cracked, de-hulled and rolled into flakes and then hydrogenated.
Paraffin wax is a crude oil byproduct extracted at the beginning of the gasoline refinement process and comes from non-renewable resources.
